Which social media API can an AI agent use to publish posts?
Every network has its own publishing API, but each one needs its own developer app, review and token handling. An agent can instead use one API that covers several networks: Skryvo's REST API (with an API key) or its MCP server (with sign-in), which publish to LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Mastodon, Pinterest, TikTok, Telegram, Discord, Slack, WordPress and Dev.to.

Which should my agent use, MCP or REST?
An agent that supports remote MCP servers, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, should use the MCP server at https://api.skryvo.ai/mcp and sign in. A script, an n8n workflow or an agent without sign-in should call the REST API with a key.
What are the REST endpoints?
GET /api/v1/agent/channels to see where you can post, POST /api/v1/agent/drafts to write a post for up to four platforms, POST /api/v1/agent/posts to schedule it, and GET /api/v1/agent/results for the numbers. One POST to /posts schedules the same text to every channel id you pass.
How is the key kept safe?
It is shown once when you create it and stored by Skryvo only as a hash. Keep it as a secret in your tool and revoke it in Settings › API & agents if it leaks.
